What we do

Assessment
and
Therapy

Accurate and timely assessment is important in diagnosing and clarifying the problems that clients present with. Our approach to assessment is a holistic one that usually involves interview with the client, caregiver, and other stakeholders involved in the client's care (if possible) to clarify and diagnose the problem. We commonly conduct assessments for the following:

  • Intellectual disabilities

  • Learning difficulties

  • Emotional and behavioral problems

Therapy and intervention often follows assessment, and it can take a range of approaches - from individual counselling or group therapy, to the design and implementation of behavioral plans and strategies with various stakeholders including caregivers and support workers etc.

Some of the common issues that we provide interventions for include:

  • Behaviours of concern

  • Mood difficulties

  • Stress and anxiety

  • General emotional and relational issues

Training and Coaching

As the saying goes, "It takes a village to raise a child". The involvement of and collaboration with partners and caregivers is important to ensure meaningful, sustainable support to the adult with disability. Hence training workshops and coaching sessions to build the capacity and understanding of these stakeholders is an indispensable part of a holistic service.

We conduct workshops and training for the following areas:

  • Disability awareness and support
